I use light’s startling play on space and form, it’s ability to describe and obscure and it’s capacity to render a mood and drama as a catalyst to explore the expressive potential of objects. I mine the emotional power of these objects’ interplay to express resonant themes of discovery, identity, struggle, death, resilience, creativity and spirit.
